Oftedal has been IT-director at UiO since 2007, was previous deputy IT-director and has worked all his life with IT at UiO. The IT-director are responsible for all IT at UiO and are heading the IT-center, University Center for Information Technology Services, USIT. USIT delivers IT-services both to UiO and to the higher education sector in Norway.

 

He is member of the NUAS IT group and are working with national services like IT architecture, integration and identity and access management.
